A Regency terrace in Bath
c. 1815
The contrast of white statuary marble against honey-brown Siena is pure Regency, and doing it as inlay rather than solid Siena was the expensive choice — the panels are a few millimetres thick, cut and fitted by hand.
One roundel had been lost before it came to us and has been replaced with matched Siena. It is a good match and we would rather tell you than have you find it.
